The hotel's location is fantastic, being close to the beach, grocery stores, and the town center. The warm drinks served in the lounge bar were much appreciated. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me want to return for another stay.

Stopped over at the Glenthorn on a weekend Scuba diving trip.Excellent hotel for an over night stop.Staff very friendly wish we had the time to spend to get to know them more,but arrived late Saturday night and had to leave early Sunday morning. Had breakfast offered to us early which was great,excellent breakfast and lots of it. Rooms were comfy and clean. On the road parking but we managed to get a spot with no problem even arriving late. Great hotel for the price,would definatly stop over again when we are up that area

The location was great, close to beach and cycling and walking paths, grocery stores and walking paths, in a pretty nice area. Loved the price of our guest room with comfy beds and its essentials. Everyone was very welcoming and pleasant as well as owner.

Free parking nearby provided. Great-sized rooms with very clean beds, an electric kettle, central heating, an iron and ironing board. Wonderful view, free breakfast options with juice and toast.

The room was tidy and had a marvellous view across Morecambe Bay with the mountains of the Lake District. The hotel was in a central setting in Morecame bay. Moreover, it was very close to sea front, and grocery stores like Aldi & Morrisons.

I had a very relaxing stay here. The personnel was superfriendly and affable, and the owner too. The food was excellent and the bar was superb. It was a beautifully designed hotel in a peaceful area, short walk to nice stone jetty by Clifton, beach and cycling and walking paths, and shops pubs.

The breakfast selection was unexpectedly good, with a variety of self-service items to choose from. We also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who were always there to offer directions and guidance. The location was ideal for us, with easy access to both the coastal areas and the nearby countryside for walks.
The room we stayed in was a bit small and cramped for a romantic escape. we weren't impressed with the limited evening facilities nearby, which meant that we had to travel quite a distance to find somewhere to eat and drink.
